Al Khayyat Investments was proud to be a partner of the first-of-its-kind UAE Summit on Digital Trade and Digital Platforms, held under the patronage of H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq, Minister of Economy & Tourism, and H.E. Abdulla Alsaleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy & Tourism. Delivered in collaboration with UNCITRAL: United Nations Commission on International Trade Law and the UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism, the summit convened leaders to advance open international dialogue on the future of digital trade.
We extend our appreciation to Hasan Al Kilany for his leadership in shaping the digital trade and platforms agenda in the UAE, and to the speakers and innovators who contributed to two days of meaningful discussion on the international stage.
On the first day of the summit our Managing Director, Zaid S. Al Khayyat was presented with a recognition by H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, in acknowledgment of our partnership.
On the second day, Samer Sabri, Chief Supply Chain Officer, joined fellow panellists Essam Al Tamimi, Torbjörn Fredriksson and Gérardine Goh Escolar 吴美姗 in a discussion on the role of platform operators in international trade, sharing practical insights drawn from real-world supply chains across the Middle East.
